We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party data brokers or marketing agencies. Your data is used exclusively to operate, host, and deliver your personalized digital keepsakes and dedications.
2. Information We Collect
We collect and process the following categories of data:
- User-Generated Content: Dedication messages, author and recipient names, book titles, chapter prose, custom prompts, relationship themes, and uploaded image files.
- Authentication Data: When you sign in with Google Auth, we receive your email address, verified display name, and profile picture avatar.
- Client-Side Image Optimization: Uploaded images are compressed directly within your device browser using Canvas WebP/JPEG encoding prior to transmission, reducing data payload and preserving private resolution.
- Technical Telemetry: Anonymized IP logs, browser type, device operating system, and performance diagnostics strictly used to prevent fraud and DDoS attacks.
3. Public Dedications vs. Private Keepsake Links
🌍 Public Wall of Love
Notes posted to the public Wall of Love are publicly visible to anyone who visits the site. You agree never to include confidential personally identifiable information (passwords, government IDs, banking data) in public dedications.
🔒 Private 3D Keepsake Links
Personalized 3D Storybooks, Open-When letters, and Love Coupons are accessible only to anyone in possession of their unique, unguessable private link. We do not index private keepsake books in public search listings.
4. Infrastructure & Third-Party Service Providers
We partner with certified, privacy-compliant third-party cloud infrastructure providers to operate the Service:
- Supabase: Encrypted cloud database and storage infrastructure.
- Google Cloud Platform: OAuth 2.0 user authentication.
- Vercel: Global edge hosting, SSL certificates, and content delivery network.
All data is encrypted in transit via TLS 1.3 / HTTPS encryption.
5. Cookies & Local Browser Storage
We use browser localStorage and IndexedDB to cache your draft stories locally on your device, preventing data loss during creation. We use essential session cookies strictly for account management. We do not use intrusive third-party cross-site advertising tracking pixels.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)
Wall of Love is designed for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has submitted personal content, please contact us immediately for immediate removal.
7. Your Data Rights & Permanent Deletion
Under applicable global privacy regulations (including GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to access, rectify, download, or permanently delete your data. You may delete any saved book directly in your My Books dashboard. To request permanent deletion of any public love note, account, or uploaded media, contact support@walloflove.online.
